A. Vogel Euphrasia 50ml

This herbal preparation contains freshly harvested Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright). As the common name suggest Euphraisa is a phytotherapeutic remedy traditionally used for maintaining the health of the eyes. Contains constituents which include an iridoid (aucubin), caffeic acid and tannins.

The Euphrasia plant is a small annual native to Britain and Europe. It is commonly found in grasslands and woods, usually at higher altitude. It grows to a height of about 30cm and bears pale lilac flowers. Euphrasia has been widely used in Europe since the 17th century. It has a place in literature with Milton, in his poem Paradise Lost, describing how the Archangel Michael used "Euphrasy" to clear Adam's sight.

Directions: Euphrasia should be taken internally. Adults: 20 drops taken twice daily in a little water. Maintenance: 20 drops taken once daily in a small amount of water. Children: Half adult amount.
