Comvita Manukacare is 100% Active Manuka Honey good for minor wounds such as minor burns, cuts and scrapes. Active Manuka Honeys antibacterial properties are known to assist the natural immune defences of the skin. Manuka Honey has been shown to be effective in assisting the natural healing of an extensive range of minor wound types:- Supports natural defences- Assists tissue growth- Creates a healing barrier

Usage
Apply Manukacare directly onto the wound ensuring it reaches a thickness of at least 3mm over the whole wound.
Apply more if wound fluid is present.

Cautions
This product has been sterilised for hygiene to prevent the growth of bacteria and is not intended for consumption.

Other Information
Manuka Honey has well researched antibacterial properties and honey is also known to be antifungal. UMF (Unique Manuka Factor), first identified by Prof. Molan at New Zealand's Waikato University, is a phytochemical activity in addition to the hydrogen peroxide found in ordinary honeys.
